Who publishes this

Counter.Software is operated by SoraShouri LLC, which is responsible for the pages below and is who to write to about anything in this policy. It covers:

• counter.software, including the card counting guide
• gtopoker.counter.software, the GTO Poker Trainer
• tournamentbj.counter.software, Tournament Blackjack
• accounts.counter.software, where Counter.Software accounts live

The Blackjack Strategy Trainer and the Video Poker Trainer, including their Android apps, sell a trainer and keep your progress in your account, so they each have a policy of their own: Blackjack and Video Poker.

What stays in your browser

• Your language. A cookie named cs_lang remembers which language you read in, English, Español or 日本語, so every Counter.Software site opens in the same one. It holds the language and nothing else: the one you picked or, until you pick one, the one the page opened in. Some pages also keep a copy in your browser’s local storage.
• The GTO Poker Trainer’s record of your play: the hands you have drilled and how you played them, whether you have taken the guided tour, and your progress through the fundamentals. It is kept in your browser’s local storage and is not sent to us.
• Tournament Blackjack’s record of your play: your rounds, graded decisions, drills, stats and settings. They are kept in your browser’s storage and are not sent to us, except at an online table (below). Your browser also keeps copies of the trainer’s pages so it can open offline.

Online tables

Tournament Blackjack’s online tables run on our server, so a table there works differently from the rest of the trainer. When you create or join a table, the server receives the name you type, your seat, and your bets and plays for that round. Your grades are still worked out in your browser.

The first time you play online, your browser makes a random key and keeps it. The server stores only a scrambled (hashed) form of that key, to give you your seat back and to keep your record: rounds played, wins, advances, and chips won or lost. Your name, a short tag made from the key, and your record are shown to the other players at the table and on the shared leaderboard.

A table, with its hands and decisions, is deleted about half an hour after it finishes. Records stay until you ask us to remove them. The server also uses your internet (IP) address to limit how many tables one address can open in ten minutes.

Accounts

A Counter.Software account holds the username and e-mail address you registered with. When you open the GTO Poker Trainer’s page, it asks accounts.counter.software whether you are signed in, using the sign-in cookie that service set, so it can show your account menu. Signing out ends that session.

Accounts are handled by Counter.Software’s own service. Nothing is sold, rented or shared with advertisers.

Payments

Nothing is sold on these pages. When you buy the Blackjack or Video Poker trainer on the web, Stripe takes the payment and collects your card details; we never receive your card number. Each trainer’s own policy explains what reaches us. Tournament Blackjack’s checkout is not open yet; this policy will be updated when it opens.

Other services

These sites are hosted by Railway. Like any web host, its servers receive your browser’s internet (IP) address in order to send you the pages.

The GTO Poker Trainer loads two open-source code libraries from unpkg.com, a public code delivery network, and the Tournament Blackjack trainer loads its fonts from Google Fonts. Like any web server, each receives your browser’s IP address with the request; nothing else about you is sent to them.

What we do not collect

• No advertising identifiers, and no advertising of any kind.
• No third-party analytics or tracking scripts.
• No location, contacts, files, camera or microphone.
• No card numbers.

Children

Counter.Software makes strategy trainers for casino games. They are not directed at children and are not intended for anyone under 18. No money is wagered on these sites.

Your rights

What your browser stores, you control: clear this site’s data in your browser and it is gone. If you hold an account and want it and its data deleted, or want your online-table record removed, write to Bugs@countersoftware.net (for a record, include the name and tag it shows) and we will remove it.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects what is collected, the date at the top will change, and the current version will always be at this address.
